Fatima began her career in Dentistry after a Masters in Oral Pathology from Barts and the London. She then studied Dentistry at Guys and Kings College London, qualifying in 2009. She then spent a year as a Senior House Officer in Northwick and Wexham Park hospitals as an SHO in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery and was awarded membership to the Royal college of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Subsequently she returned to general Practice and has worked in various practices in Surrey, West Sussex and South London.
Fatima has a friendly and compassionate personality. She has a strong belief in treating her patients as if they were her own family and works with her patients to provide a patient centred approach to treatment utilising the latest technology and materials.
She is heavily invested in her continuous development and strives to provide the most up to date, ethical and evidence based care to her patients. She has a particular interest in minimally invasive smile make overs involving cosmetic teeth straightening and has accreditation to provide fixed braces, Inman Invisalign, whitening and bonding. She has also completed a certificate course in Periodontal treatment enabling her to manage more complex gum problems. Currently she is coming to the end of a Diploma in Endodontics and Advanced Aesthetic and Restorative treatment and has gained training in prescriptive skin care with Obaji systems.
Outside of work she has a keen interest in charity work. She has volunteered as a Dentist in various refugee camps over Europe and Asia. She has a passion for film and theatre and travelling the globe to experience different cultures and cuisine. When she gets an opportunity, she likes to relax with a good book!
